Accommodations: Suites are housed in 2-story villas, and are available in Garden View, Luxury Garden View, Ocean Front, and Luxury Ocean Front categories. All have screened-in patios, king beds, sitting areas with pull-out sofa-beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TV, rocking chairs, desks, walk-in closets, irons/ironing boards, and in-room safes. The oversized baths have hairdryers and walk-in showers. Tiled-floors and dark-wood furnishings highlight the breezy, island-inspired decor. Recently-renovated Luxury category suites are appointed with granite and white marble, beamed-ceilings, plasma-screen TVs, and kitchenettes. The Davis Bay Suite is the largest, spanning 2 floors, with 2 bedrooms and a verandah where you can entertain up to 100 guests.
Dining & Entertainment: The full breakfast menu offers everything from omelets and pancakes to continental fare like hot and cold cereal, muffins, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, and more. Appetizers, salads, burgers and sandwiches are served all day, and dinner entrees include salmon, lamb, duck, pasta, and seafood dishes. The white-chocolate bread pudding and key lime cheesecake are popular desert items. Specialty cocktails include the Cruzan Mojito and Voodoo Juice. Friday nights there’s a lively pirate-themed buffet. NOTE: The resort is a popular choice for travelers seeking a quiet alternative to the energetic socializing found at many resorts, and evenings tend to be low-key.
Recreation: Flanked by a rugged coast and jungle-covered hills on both sides, the private beach is the most secluded stretch of white sand on the island, and the surrounding terrain is excellent for hiking. There’s an outdoor pool, whirlpool, fitness room, tennis courts, a game room, the Spa De La Mer, and a dive shop. The golf course, a rolling landscape spotted with colorful tropical flowers and plants, has been awarded Golf Magazine’s Gold Medal. You can arrange excursions to Buck Island Reef, a national park with gorgeous beaches, picnic areas, and world class diving that includes submerged caves. Island tours visit the towns of Christiansted and Frederikstead, a rum distillery, botanical gardens, and Whim Plantation Museum.

- Saman Room & Terrace - Open-air as well as indoor dining. Open 7am-11am (except Sunday). Sunday brunch served 11am-2:30pm.
