Accommodations: Guest rooms have all been recently renovated and given an upgraded, contemporary design, with all new furnishings, fixtures, and finishes. Most feature balconies, and all feature air-conditioning, flat-panel TVs, phones, refrigerators, ergonomic chairs, living areas, deluxe bath amenities, and spa-quality robes. Plush bedding includes pillow-top mattresses, luxuriant 250-thread-count linens, and down pillows. Wired and wireless internet is available for a fee. Junior Suites and 1-Bedroom Suites offer additional living space. The Premium Suite category includes the penthouse, and boasts upgraded amenities, furnishings, and features. Housed in a separate annex, Island Suites have 1 or 2 bedrooms, and are ideal for families.
Dining & Entertainment: The Outback Steakhouse has Australian-themed decor and a spectacular 2-story waterfall, and specializes in a fine selection of steaks and seafood. Watercress Cafe serves American fare with a lake view, and hosts a daily buffet breakfast with Disney Character Dining on Sundays. Kook Sports Bar serves great food and drinks, and has the perfect casual atmosphere for enjoying a game. The Lobby Lounge serves drinks, cocktails, coffees, and pastries. Castaway Grill and Shipwreck Bar specializes in frozen tropical drinks and also offers light fare. There’s also a market and pastry shop, and in-room dining is available 24 hours a day.At night, try the clubs at Pleasure Island, and La Nouba, a Cirque du Soleil theatrical experience created exclusively for Disney World.
