Accommodations: The residential-style accommodations include 1-bedroom suites, townhouses, and villas. Suites measure in at over 600-square feet, while villas are over 1,100 and townhouses over 1,200-square feet; villas and townhouses each have 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and living rooms. House within white-stucco and brick buildings, all accommodations include full kitchens, private balconies or patios (most with garden views), air-conditioning, satellite TV, alarm clocks, desks, phones, data ports, in-room safes (for a small surcharge), microwaves, refrigerators, hairdryers, and irons/ironing boards. Bedrooms each have 1 king or paired single beds. Rollaway beds and cribs are available at a surcharge. BONUS: Kids under 12 stay for free.
Dining & Entertainment: Located on-site, Hibiscus is a poolside restaurant and bar with a full breakfast menu, as well as menus for light lunch and snacks. There are about 20 restaurants within walking distance of the property; both the Atlantis Resort and the Marina Village are within a 20 minute walk (or an even short taxi ride), and are rife with opportunities for dining and entertainment, including the Atlantis Casino, the largest gaming venue in the Caribbean.
Recreation: As mentioned, there are 3 swimming pools on the property (one available exclusively to guests staying in the villas). There's also a tennis court that's lit for night play, and a children's playground. Cabbage Beach is the closest, about a 10-minute walk. The blue, translucent Bahamian waters are excellent for snorkeling and diving, and tours can be booked through your Travel Consultant. Bikes are available for rent, and cabs can take you directly from the hotel to Nassau, where you can sightsee and shop. A City Tour runs twice a day, and takes you to a native market and the city's historical sites. The Atlantis resort, one of the largest and most famous in the world, is worth a visit, even for travelers who aren’t staying there, with it's sprawling marine habitat and water park.
