Accommodations: Rooms and suites are housed in the Crescent and Hartford wings. The 2-story Crescent wing buildings are newer, and have a refined yet casual ambience with soothing colors, hardwood floors and furnishings, and private ocean view balconies and patios. Most balconies and patios in the Hartford wing face the dramatic gardens, but ocean view suites are also available. The 2-bedroom, 2-bath gardencottages offer more seclusion, and have large enclosed courtyards ideal for private sunning and dining. All accommodations are air-conditioned and feature satellite TV, DVD players, phone lines, complimentary internet access, deluxe linens and robes, pillow menus, personal butler service 24 hours a day, and king-sized beds. Baths have large tubs.
Dining & Entertainment: Set on the white-sand beach, the elegant Dune is the resort’s signature restaurant, where the menu is a blend of French-Asian cuisine infused with herbs grown in Dune’s own organic garden. Dune’s kitchen also provides the 24-hour room service. For gourmet Continental cuisine served under the stars, dine at The Courtyard Terrace. The Pool Terrace Cafe serves local specialties poolside. Cocktails, vintage wines, champagne, and afternoon tea are served in The Library. The Clubhouse has a full bar, and a light menu for breakfast and lunch. Guests have access to many more dining options at thenearby Atlantis resort.
Recreation: Stroll the elaborate gardens, relax in a gently swaying hammock, and suntan on a chaise lounge on the beach, where butlers are on hand to bring you a fresh drink, towel, lotion, and just about anything else you might need. Kayaks and bicycles are complimentary. Scuba, snorkeling, fishing, and private island excursions are provided. There is the spectacular Versailles pool as well as a family pool. There are 6 tennis courts, 4 lit for night play. The 18-hole golf course is a Tom Weiskopf design.
