Accommodations: The guest rooms are housed in 35 two-story bungalows. All are air-conditioned, furnished with rattan and hardwood furniture, and feature either a balcony or terrace. Amenities include satellite TV, phone, mini-bar, liquor dispenser, marble bath, and hairdryer. Suites are more spacious, and feature separate living areas. In-room safes are available on request.
Dining & Entertainment: The main restaurant is an international buffet with cook-to-order station, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with two themed nights a week. For a la carte dining, there is an Italian restaurant and a steakhouse. You can also chose to dine at the numerous additional restaurants offered at the neighboring sister resorts, including a gourmet restaurant at the Riu Palace Macao Hotel. NOTE: A la carte restaurants require reservations. Snacks are available 24 hours a day. A pizzeria and an internet café can be found on "Caribbean Street," the mock shanty-town and common area. Drinks are served at 3 bars, including the piano lounge and the poolside bar, as well as at select bars throughout the other hotels. Live music and shows, the Pacha Nightclub, and the casino provide nighttime entertainment.
Recreation: There are lounge chairs on the beach and by the pool, and lots of palm trees for shade. Cool off with a swim in the large free-form pool, and order a drink at the swim-up bar. Start up a game of pool volleyball or water polo, or try some windsurfing, parasailing, kayaking, boogie boarding, and snorkeling. Your stay even includes a free introductory scuba lesson. There are tennis courts lit for night play, and there's also a gym. Unwind with a soak in the Jacuzzi, or spend some time in the sauna. And the little ones aren't forgotten -- children ages 4-12 can make new friends while having lots of fun with supervised activities at the kids' club.
