Accommodations: Retreat to your air-conditioned room or suite and sleep comfortably in a king-size or double bed. Accommodations have a balcony or terrace with a sea or garden view, cable TV, a coffee maker and a teapot, and a hairdryer. The Governor Suite's terrace has a Jacuzzi. Some guest quarters include a continental breakfast. Ask about a safe deposit box. The hotel offers laundry service.
Dining & Entertainment: Have an early breakfast and a late lunch at The Reef, facing the water and with both an a la carte menu and a buffet of international dishes. International fare and Mexican cuisine are served at Hacienda Miramar, and Tropical Forest is a casual eatery in the pool area. Cool down with a cocktail at the Pool Bar, and order a refreshing tropical drink and a snack at the Beach Bar. The Lobby Bar has music and a lively atmosphere.
Recreation: Find a chaise lounge in a shady spot under a swaying palm tree by the glistening oceanfront swimming pool. Scuba diving and snorkeling are superb in the largest and oldest coral reef in the Americas. Area water sports include kayaking, sailing, and jet-skiing. You can plunge directly into the ocean from the resort's dive pier! Play tennis and volleyball, and take aqua-aerobics and dance classes. Supervised activities keep your children engaged at the Fiesta Kids Club. - Miramar - A dinner restaurant serving international cuisine, seafood, fine cuts and shrimp (surcharge for lobster and shrimp). Open from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
- Tropical Forest Restaurant - A poolside restaurant with an ecological theme serving international and local cuisine for dinner. Open from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
- The Reef Restaurant - Serving Mexican cuisine and seafood, and a breakfast buffet. Open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
