Accommodations: The rooms are housed in 2-story, Polynesian-style villas. Each villa houses 8 rooms furnished with either 2 double beds or 1 king bed. The simply furnished accommodations feature air-conditioning, ceiling fans, coffee makers, and private balconies/terraces. TIP: To be closest to the pool, ask for a room in Building 56 or 58.
Dining & Entertainment: The All-Inclusive plan means unlimited food and drinks. Diners can partake at the generous buffet at Topaz, or enjoy table service at the Caruso’s Italian and La Troje Mexican restaurants. The swim-up bar and poolside snack bar are open all day, as is Fast Eddie's, a complete sports bar with a disco and late-night snacks.
Recreation: The resort features 2 pools, one overlooking the sea and the other quieter and set farther from the beach, while a third pool is designated for children. There's a dive shop on the premises, and scuba lessons are also offered, and an underwater visit to Palancar Reef is a must. Relish relaxing moments in the whirlpool, sauna, or on the beach, along with more active fun at the 4 lighted tennis courts, organized volleyball, aerobics, dance lessons, and at the gym. Kids get their own vacation with games and supervised activities at the kids' club. Excursions to the Mayan ruins are easily arranged.
